Make a custom sticker from a text prompt in DepCut

Sometimes the sticker you need does not exist yet, like a mascot for your brand or a joke prop for one scene. The Stickers tab makes one from a single sentence. Until you make your first, the tab shows the line "Stickers you make land here, cut out and ready to place."
What Create sticker does
You describe the sticker and click Create sticker. DepCut draws the picture with its image model, removes the background, adds a white die-cut outline and saves the result as a sticker. Creating one spends account credits, the same as generating an image, so you need to be signed in.
Make one
- Open the left panel and choose Stickers.
- Click the prompt box at the top. Its hint reads "A corgi in sunglasses…".
- Type what the sticker shows. Click Create sticker, or press Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on a Mac).
- Watch the button label. It reads Drawing…, then Cutting out…, then Saving….
- The sticker lands on the timeline at the playhead, centered, and a tile for it appears in the Stickers grid.
Each new sticker is placed for three seconds. Select it and the right panel shows a Size slider, and you can drag it around the preview.
Word the prompt for a clean cutout
DepCut wraps your idea in sticker framing: one centered subject with a bold silhouette on a plain light background, with no other objects and no text. Write for that frame.
- Name one subject. "A smiling avocado wearing a tiny crown" has an obvious outline to cut. "A busy street with cars" has no single subject.
- Add the details that matter: color, expression, pose and style, such as flat vector, hand-drawn or glossy 3D.
- Skip lettering inside the picture. Add any words as a title, where they stay sharp and editable.
Start from a picture
The composer takes references the same way the Image tab does. You have three options:
- Drop an image onto the composer.
- Click the + button at the bottom left (Add reference) to upload a file or pick something from Media or the Library.
- Type @ in the prompt and choose an item from the list.
With a reference attached, the model works from that picture and your sentence, and the sticker framing is still added. A photo of your product plus a short description is an easy way to get a sticker version of it.
Reuse it
- A tile highlights when you click it. Drag it onto the timeline to place another copy.
- Hover a tile and click + (Add to timeline) to add a copy at the playhead.
- The … button (More actions) offers Copy reference, Add to Media, Add to Library and Delete. Copy reference gives you an @ token to paste into any prompt, so a sticker can steer later generations.
- If the background removal fails, you still get the picture without a cutout. Run the same prompt again to retry.
You can also ask the Agent in plain words, such as "make a sticker of a lightning bolt and put it at the start". It uses the same pipeline and places the result at the playhead unless you name a time.
Make your first one
