Make a Pet Video With Thought Bubbles and Slow Motion

Pets do the funny part. Your job is to find the best second, give it room, and say what the animal is thinking. This recipe slows one moment, adds a thought bubble and a sticker prop, and puts a sound on the punchline.
Find the moment
- Create a project. Open Aspect ratio in the left panel and choose Vertical · 9:16.
- Open Media, press Upload and add your clips. Each video lands at the end of the main track.
- Trim each clip with Split and drop the left side and Split and drop the right side until only the funny stretch is left.
- In the clip with the best second, keep the pointer off the timeline. Park the playhead just before that second and press S. Park it just after and press S again.
- Click the middle piece and open Speed in the right panel. Drag the slider down toward 0.5. A slower clip is longer, so the clips after it slide to the right.
Give the pet a voice
- Move the playhead to the start of the reaction and press T. A title reading "Your text" appears.
- In the right panel's Text tab, write the thought, such as "Is that a squirrel?".
- Open Bubble and press Thought. A balloon appears behind the words, sized to fit them. The first bubble darkens white text so it stays readable.
- In the Tail grid pick a position that points toward the pet. Color and Opacity sit below it.
- Drag the bubble in the preview until it sits beside the pet's head.
- Open Animate, keep In selected and pick Pop.
For the next line, press T again. The new title arrives with the same bubble. Switch to Burst for a shout or Speech for a line spoken out loud.
Add a prop
- Open Stickers in the left panel. Describe the prop in the prompt, such as a tiny gold crown, and press Create sticker. It is drawn, cut out and placed on the title row at the playhead, or right after any title already there; drag its bar to line it up with the bubble. Sticker creation spends account credits.
- Drag the sticker in the preview onto the pet's head. Drag its corner handle to resize it.
- With the sticker selected, the right panel shows Size and an Animation section. Select Loop and pick Float or Wiggle.
- Drag the right edge of the sticker's bar on the timeline until it covers the scene.
Land the joke
- Open Sound FX and stay on Library. Type "boing" in Search sound FX, preview the result, and drag it onto an empty audio row at the punchline. It lands where you release it; drag its bar afterward and its left edge snaps to the playhead.
- Search "pop" and place it where the bubble appears, so the thought arrives with a sound.
- Open AI Gen, choose Audio, then Music. In the Sample library pick Upbeat and drag a card onto an empty audio row below the sound effects, then drag its bar left until it snaps to the start. Then click the music clip, open Volume in the right panel and lower it so the effects cut through.
- Click the music, park the playhead where the last clip ends and press Split and drop the right side.
- Press Export, choose a preset and press Export video. Open Media, then press the finished row under Exports to see TikTok, Instagram and YouTube mock-ups.
