Redraw or redo one shot of an AI-generated video

When you ask the Agent for a narrated, multi-shot video, it plans first and renders later. That gap is the best moment to fix a shot, and every shot can still be redone after the render without touching the others.
Ask for a multi-shot video
A plain request such as "make a video of a rainy street" produces one clip. To get a planned production, describe a story, a short or an episode: "Tell a story about a lighthouse keeper who finds a message in a bottle, narrated." Open the Agent from the top bar to start.
A card titled Generate video appears in the chat. Its status reads Planning, then Storyboard ready.
Review the storyboard
- Find the Plan row on the card. It lists the number of shots and the total length, and the shot tiles sit under it.
- Read each tile. It shows the shot's opening frame, a length badge, a "Shot 3" heading and one line about what is on screen.
- Click a tile to see its frame full size.
- Hover a tile you dislike and click the round-arrow button, Redraw this frame. You can also ask in the chat: "Redraw shot 3, wider."
A redraw remakes only that shot's opening frame. Nothing has rendered as video yet, and the card keeps waiting for you.
Approve and render
When the frames look right, click Approve & render, which carries the shot count in brackets. This is the step that starts the video renders, and each shot spends credits. The Agent waits for your go-ahead before it approves, and the plan you approve is the plan that renders.
While it works the status reads Rendering, tiles show a spinner, and a green check appears on each shot as it lands on the timeline. The card ends on Video ready.
Fix a shot afterward
Choose the smallest tool that solves the problem.
- One shot. Hover its tile and click Redo this shot. DepCut renders it again and swaps the new clip into the same place on the timeline. Leave the old clip where it is.
- A stretch of shots. Ask in the chat: "Shots 2 and 3 drag, tighten them." The Agent replans only that span against the same audio, keeps the cast and every other clip, and renders only the new shots.
- The whole look. Ask for "black-and-white film noir". Every shot renders again, so the Agent confirms with you first.
- A clip you can point at. Type @ and pick the clip, then write "@c2 doesn't match the audio". The Agent works out which shot that clip came from.
A shot that fails all its attempts holds a still image and carries a small still tag on its tile. The card then offers Retry 1 shot, or the count that matches. Use that button to repair it, and avoid deleting the still by hand, because the repair keeps the shot's character and style references.
Undo removes clips from the timeline, but credits already spent stay spent. Settle the plan at the storyboard, before any video has rendered.
Give one direction at a time
When you ask for a redraw or a redo in the chat, add a short note with a single direction, such as "wider", "at night" or "more energetic". One change per request shows you what caused the difference.
Plan, approve, refine
Open DepCut, ask the Agent for a short story and review every tile before you approve it.
